However, in an interesting turn of events, the industry in Ohio has been doing well, unlike the rest of the country. As a matter of fact, they have had the best year since 2005. Reports by Trulia indicate that home sales increased by 7.5 percent when compared to the same period of time in 2015. There is a report that was adapted by the realtor’s society in North East Ohio State which showed that their land sale rates had improved by up to 8 percent in the area, a record in the history of the state.
Pete Kopf, a realtor in Cincinnati said that record sales have been experienced in the area and that the sales and the average cost of the houses had gone up during the stated period of time. He observed that in the year that ended, the cost of housing in the area was 4.5 percent lower than what it was this year. Compared to the cost of housing in the rest of the country, which was about $200,000 on average, representing a 4 percent rise, Ohio did much better.
