Norman Pattiz, Executive Chairman of PodcastOne Announces Newest Research Findings Concerning PodcastOne and Advertising

Norman Pattiz chairman of PodcastOne is pleased to announce new podcast research results concerning advertising tests across five major national consumer brands, in five different and service and product categories. This is the first study of its kind to analyze both pre- and post- campaign brand lift for podcast advertisers.

The results are from the first 6 months of 2016 and revealed positively the results of podcast advertising. Its impact on brand recall, the motivations of the consumer, as well as capacity to recollect specific messaging.

Listed are some of the top findings of the study conducted to validate Podcast one’s multi-tiered approach to integrated advertising:

-Awareness was gained in pre-test automobile campaign for aftermarket product by 60%

-A dining restaurant featuring a casual dining experience gained awareness in pretests by 76%

-In the post-study, pollers reported having a “very favorable” opinion of an automobile aftermarket product. That went up by 18% from the results in the pre-study.-

-Product awareness that went largely unpromoted was reported to have received a merchandise awareness 47% increase in product recognition, for a financial service and an increase of 37% on the auto aftermarket brand. – 60% of listeners reported to Podcast one that they recalled a specific grocery brand post-campaign, that percentage went up to 7% after pre-study.

Conclusive evidence of the study shows that podcast listeners were receptive to receiving specific brand advertising, as well as indicating an eagerness to purchase products both mentioned and advertised on podcasts.
